The Marches on this compact disc were all played at the Queen’s Birthday Parades [Trooping The Colour] during the reign of Queen Victoria and cover the period from 1864-1899. As such, they give a unique historical insight into the music played on parade by the bands of the Brigade of Guards during that period.
